Each note includes a variety of things like:

• A personal story related to what you are learning and will be implementing that week.
• Essential mindset advice that makes a difference when it comes to sharing and selling your art.
• Action steps tailored to help you make decisions that align with your personal goals so you are empowered and can design your art business.
• Often Notes will include workbooks, journaling prompts, or direct action steps to further support your progress.

My goal with life YOU design is to guide you in crafting an authentic art-based business that reflects your unique vision. Through lessons meant to be visited bi-weekly, I’ll assist you in designing a business that suits your personality and goals, ensuring you find fulfillment and success on your terms.

• GOALS - I break down goal setting and teach you my method for planning goals and reaching them,

• SUPPORT along your journey - think of the Notes as a way to stay inspired while feeling supported as you navigate your journey of selling your art and all the different ways you can make money while feeling fulfilled in the process.

With over 24 years of experience as an entrepreneur and numerous ways I have generated income from my art over the years, I can help you design an experience tailored to your needs.

I understand, there’s a lot of information out there, and deciding how to get started is often the most challenging part.  In this program, I will arm you with all the research to help you make decisions that are right for you along the way.

I understand that you don't have a lot of time.  That is why I broke everything down into bite-sized steps and offer you a lot of time in between so you have time to learn, process the information, and make the best decisions for you along the way, all while still making art and allowing for the busy schedules we are all faced with.

I know it’s overwhelming to look at the entire picture of starting to make money from your art and all the things that need to be put into place, but with my guidance and how I have broken down everything, you will quickly gain clarity and design a business that suits you in this moment.

I know it’s hard to switch gears and think of yourself as an artist and an entrepreneur, but how exciting is it to be able to make money from your art and do so in a way that supports you and fills you up! 

I know how scary it can be to follow a dream you have about being an artist, never mind being an entrepreneur! It was scary for me too.  I look back at all the experiences I have had, all the people whom I got to meet, and all the art that I got to share, and that is more thrilling than the fear of working towards my dreams!

I started life i design when I turned 40 and haven’t looked back! I have done everything from selling my art to designing for brands like Hallmark to having my art printed on home goods sold in retail stores. I have created popular online art classes and have helped over 70,000 artists learn watercolor painting in a way that is supportive, successful, and enjoyable.  I have authored a watercolor technique book called Watercolor Made Simple that has been #1 on Amazon internationally. 

I work with top-notch brands like Winsor & Newton and Etchr Lab. I have been featured in magazines like In Her Studio and Where Women Create. I host a podcast called life i design, the podcast where I share advice about art, business, and create a life you love. I’m passionate about helping WOMEN who have dreamed about making art get started, and now I am fired up to help those same WOMEN make money from their art and become more courageous, successful, and empowered too!
